By the way, you constantly write to everyone here about changing the oil before the scheduled period. I have a question, on what basis do you give such advice? Do you have an oil analysis that it degrades so much and cannot be used for 7500 miles? I have one. We have a lot of oil analyses online, including 0-20, at a mileage of 5-6 thousand miles, it is practically like new in condition.
And at 7500 miles it also has values within the normal range. I'll tell you even more, here is the analysis of Oil 0-20 Mobil1, on a Ford Focus. The car drove 19 thousand km on this oil, and this is almost 12 thousand miles. And there it is also within the normal range for all indicators except Alkalinity.
Here is the analysis through translation, it can be translated into English.
So there is no point in changing the oil earlier than the prescribed 7,500 mile interval.

Yes, it is, but you understand that for me this is meaningless information))) I won’t be able to take it to the USA to carry out the recall work) Or rather, it’s easier for me to order and bring a new engine from the USA than to take my car to the USA and back))

Yes, I get that. Just confirming that you're on the list. Thanks.

Yes, I'm on the list because I have a 2022 Yukon. But I'm still not going to switch to 0-40 oil. I'll stay with 0-20. By the way, our mechanics have learned to open the engine from below, without dismantling it, and change the connecting rod bearings. This operation is inexpensive, and in Russia, those who are at risk have already changed the bearings from the T1 generation to the red bearings from the K2 generation. They fit perfectly together.

Just throwing this out there, did you buy it in Russia or buy it in the USA and have it shipped there? I would think if you bought it there new at a GMC dealership they would take care of it. I don't know.

Просто выкладываю это там, вы купили его в России или купили в США и отправили туда? Я думаю, если бы вы купили его там новым в дилерском центре GMC, они бы позаботились об этом. Я не знаю.
I bought it in the US and shipped it to Russia. We don't have GM support or dealerships in Russia.

Ouch, you need to change the oil by at least the 50% OLM.

Hopefully you are not in a colder climate.

In this case I would probably consider implementing the REVERSE WARM UP. Start the car and drive the short distance to the event, then in some cases leave it idle as it is at least partially warmed up. This is where an Oil Temp gauge like the 2025 units would come in BIG TIME HANDY. It is not about the engine temperature, it is all about the oil temperature.

I think I may need to look back in my Logs to see if I can somehow map Transmission Temperature to expected Oil Temperature. At least this would give the driver some idea if the engine oil still needs to simmer some more.
Michigan climate. I’m toast

Is this the only place to find engine build date.? I found a tag in the engine compartment on plastic trim with a very specific date stamp, is this engine build or final assembly?

The problem with either "new" or "reman" units, if new, what was the build date? I would be getting up under the vehicle to find the engine tag on the rear of the drivers side cylinder head to find the build date. If a "reman" I assume there is a tag on the driver side cylinder head with some date related info as well.
