Broken Door Handle

Has anyone have a colormatched door handle break on them.

I switched out my stock chrome for plastic AM black. Wanted black and these plastic ones were the only I could find. Have replaced all at least twice. Glad they are only $20, and returned most w/ refund. And yes, I am now an expert at replacing them now!

Ok yea went to the dealer today and they said it would not be under warranty.

When I had my 08 and still had my bumper to bumper warranty, I got one of these replaced under warranty.

i had inside door handle cable snapped. 200 for new latch assembly. I ended up taking a butt connector that fit over the 2 broken ends of the cable and crimped them. so far my fix works

They said somebody broke into my car or has stolen it before, but the door handle broke in my hands.

I see these broken on Escalade all the time.

Yea it sucks that the dealership won't replace it.
