Alos, the seat shop recoemnds starting in the front when pressing the hog rings in, and then moving back from there. I did the oppisite on the driver's seat, and this time i listened to them. They are right, start in the front, and then move back from there, it was much easier

This side of the project ook an hour start to finish. Thats popping the trim panels off the front of the seat rails to popping them back on. Really not that bad of a job

They are both Morimoto XB series tail lgiths

With the backup light booster

I will say, if i ever need to pull the trim panels off on the rear hatch again i may consider buying new replacements. I can tell they've been off before and they don't have to many cycles of being removed left in them. But i also don't see a need to to remove them again in the near future. New seats are supremely comfortable. Very happy with the projects this weekend. Also a shout out to the guys over at Dudes Diesel Performance (DDP) and Glacier Diesel Performance (GDP) I realize i got hooked by them due to my other hobby of diesel trucks, but they helped source several of the parts and pieces and can get just about anything i need for the burb too, so i heavily rely on them. Good people, small town Texas family owned business, and i do like to support small family businesses when possible

Although admittedly, when i started buying from GDP they were based less then an hour from my house, but as things change the great customer support remains the same

Also, pretty sure i'm going to buy the Morimoto headlights for the burb at some point in the next couple of months....I have been pleasantly surprised by the stock HIDs, however the driver's side DRL LED is failing, and if i'm going to take it off to fix the circuit board and reseal it....why would i put a factory part back on when there are aftermarket upgrades out there? Which means if i'm pulling the bumper i might as well add on front tow hooks and swap out the tow hook plastics to accept them...and might as well upgrade the fog lights with some LEDs as well. that's the part that has me torn, i love the quality of Diode Dynamics, however i prefer the look of the Morimoto fogs and that crisp LED fog line is just something to be in love with, so i think i'll probably end up getting the XB fog lights as well. But that's a problem for me in a couple of months when i get around to doing that

On the 07 to 14 you can take the inner finder loose and get that nut loose holding the headlight in. Maybe yours the same?

Are you trying to talk me out of spending money on fancy lights that satisfy my need to endorse chicken lights and chrome as not only a song, but a way of life??? the sheer audacity...i never thought i would run into this kind of aggressive assault on the ideals of forums and making things shiny and blingy for no other reason then wasting money....i am offended......

although sarcasm aside, i haven't looked to deeply into it. My honest thought process is the simple fact that if i need to R&R a headlight to repair a chipset, and reseal it which never works as well as you hope, i might as well just replace it and upgrade it. I have the Morimoto XBs on my truck and love them. So might as well put them on the "beater" as well.

Also, side update on said beater project. Inspected suspension and steering, only issue was an already known about CV boot, so going to replace that and then start making decisions on rubber to go on the rims i picked up. Should make the burb look a little nicer once i get the beat up rims off of her

Hmmm, so one thing i'm looking into here, anyone have a line on CV axles that are made in America or rather, not made in China? From what i've been finding everything from GM/ AC Delco to the parts store brands to the rock auto and cheap ebay brands are all made in west Taiwan, in an effort to support tank man i try to not buy from there but i am not seeing an option anywhere regardless of where i buy them to avoid it......
