In the Jeep Wrangler world you can go to a website punch in the Vin and you get the built sheet on the spot.
GM should have something like that.
+1 for Compnine. Been using them for years and lots faster than trying to decode yourself and the terminology is often different. Some cars, they even have data on how many other cars like yours were produced with that same rpo code.
Also use it when considering a used car/truck purchase. With the VIN and compnine, I didn't have to rely on the dealer for accuracy with regards to what options originally came on the car.
The guy I chatted with gave me a link to a place that re prints the dealer window stickers, unfortunately, they didn't offer 2009 for some reason.Went to Chevrolet site and chatted online with an agent. Had my build sheet emailed to me in 3 days. Woohoo!!!
