Changed my oil about 2000 miles ago. I checked my oil today and it is about 2 quarts low. No external leaks that I can see. What can I do to slow it done or stop it from burning so much. It has 180000 miles on it

unknown at this time.
if you have no leaks and don't see white smoke out of your tail I would top it off and start and stop your engine, re-verify the level again and once again later on. perhaps a mistake was made when changed last. Also if you have an engine cooler that runs thru a radiator tank look at your coolant for evidence of a cross-leak.

Alright I will check that. But there is no white smoke out of the tail pipe but the inside is black I guess from running rich

When I changed my oil about a month ago, I was very surprised when I went under to get the bucket. There was only 2 quarts in the bucket. I couldnt believe it.
I was wondering the same thing. Where could the oil be going? I dont have any leaks either and am curious to know why it is burning oil. Any suggestions?

Make sure your PCV valve is working.. Its cheap insurance to just buy a new one.
