I can tell you right now that if you buy a a fan harness, do not get the one wire setup. Get the two wire setup so both fans are controlled by the pcm. I just got the one wire setup where the high speed is tied into the ac clutch. Such a messed up way to do it.

It came with a harness that looks really good. It will be hooked up to the computer and an external temp probe instead of the a/c hook up.

They are Flex-a-lite fans and I got them from a trusted friend for a steal.

Update:

Got the e-fans in and are working flawlessly. Been chatting with Ezdaar a lot on what other mods to do and we have come up with a whole bunch of awesomeness.

The plans now are to do the NNBS 6.0 top end with my NBS 5.3 bottom end. I am almost completed with collecting parts for the intake manifold swap/injectors. Then I will for sure need a transmission, so I will be swapping in a built 4L80. Capable of handling 1500hp (no I will never be anywhere near that, but because of the weight they recommended that one).

After that I will get a set of ported and polished/milled down 799/243 heads off of the NNBS trucks. Might also get bigger valves cut. I will also be getting a more aggressive cam to match the new intake manifold and heads.

Then the last stage will be boost. I will be going with a turbo from On3 performance.

The manifold swap should be about 30whp after tune. Heads/cam should be another 50+whp. So n/a I should be around the 450-500hp at the wheels.

This will be a pretty long process since these "stages" are pretty expensive.

Now for manifold/TB ****:

^^^ Nice parts!

Its good to see another 4l80e swapper. We'll have to compare notes, especially since we have the exact same year trucks.

So the TBSS manifold is a direct swap onto a 5.3?

Yes, tons of people have done this swap. It is probably the most popular manifold swap out there. Only thing that was hard to do was find a cable driven throttle body since I am not drive by wire.
