Hey everyone. Long time lurker, few time poster.

I have a 2002 Suburban that's getting a complete makeover in the fall. I have about $5,600 set aside for suspension, wheels, tires, and hopefully a little bit of change left for a few other goodies (tint, speakers, etc...). So I'm putting together a list of everything I'll need suspension wise so I can knock everything out in one weekend.

I'm buying the NorCalSS Ultimate Handling package (http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=102) along with tie rods and such to entirely rebuild the front suspension. New bushings are going in the rear along with the kit, and I'm thinking about the adjustable Spohn trailing arms if I can be convinced that they're worth the money.

But I can't decide on wheels!!! Specifically, 22 or 24, and chrome or black.

Here's the truck as it sits right now...

My heart tells me 24's with this big truck, but my wallet is telling me 22's. I'm looking for more sporty than bling since I plan on doing extensive motor/tranny mods (hopefully a stroker on nitrous), so help me out so I can get the right look! Here are my options so far...

In a 24 OR 22 I'm looking at these...

In a 22 I'm looking at these...

Keeping in mind, the front end will be color matched (or an SS bumper, but I'm undecided) with either an HD or ram air style hood.

Opinions please!!! I'm torturing myself over this over here.

24" Chrome TBSS wheels would look killer on a Suburban.

I've had 22's in the past but never 24's. I'm going to be building a "performance" truck (as much as I can with a huge heavy suburban) so I don't want wheels that will hinder more than help. Will the 24's hurt my performance in any reasonable amount over the 22's?

22s are almost 98 lbs.

No shame in 22s on a nbs..... at all

That's a good point. The 24's seem to really fit the NBS well, but they border that line of looking purposeful and looking ghetto. Especially if the drop isn't deep enough.

I'm leaning towards 22's, but just have to decide what looks good on a truck that's so long.

I vote tbss rims in black on 22 with a nice wide tire and also good amount of sidewall for a smooth ride.

I'm really stuck when it comes to the TBSS rims. All three colors look pretty good on black. Of course, I could always get chrome and then dip the wheels black for the winter and have the best of both worlds.
