okay i know a bunch of other guys are going to chime in telling me im wrong or im fullofshit after i say this
but ive seen live and in the flesh when i attended UTI one of the instructors i had liked to the cold air intake myth to bed and he used 3 different brands k&n volant and i think aem
and we tested a honda accord and chevy 1500 5.3 ford f150 5.4 and ran them all on the dyno and they either put out the same HP as they did with the factory intake i think the honda was actually 5hp less with the aftermarket intake

That's why you do just the tube (air-raid jr. kit)

When you put the filter on there you will be letting in hotter air from the engine bay and not from the fender where the stock box gets air.

Go with the air raid jr like andrew said. You wont really notice an mpg gain but you will notice a little better throttle response

Great, Thanks guys. I liked the look of Volant and that it got the air from the fender...but if it's the same as or similar to stock box...I'll just go with Jr. Maybe drill out a couple holes under as well like I've seen too.
