I don't like the way it looks way down there! I'd just get rid of it before I'd leav it!

For what it's worth, I'm about 99% sure that FTS offers a 9" kit for the tahoe's. A good friend of mine has their 9" lift on his '97 silverado w/ a 3" bl and is clearing 38x15.50's w/ no rubbing or trimming at all. He had to trim on the same truck w/ 6" sus & 3" bl on 37x13.50's

Not sure how well this crosses over to the hoes, but it has got to be close

I have 4" pro comp rear leaf springs with a 4" block. In the front I have the Procomp 6" with keys and a ball joint flip cranked to about 8". Then I have a 3" body lift with the bumpers and nerf bars raised. The ball hitch still has a gap but I have just lived with it. I have no tire rub with the 38's.

Other things you will need to have is a 14 bolt rear end as well as a built transmission with a cooler and a longer driveshaft to handle the 8" of lift in the rear.

I have had this truck since it was brand new back in '96. I have rebuilt the front end twice. It has been lifted since the year 2000. You can run 38's with the ifs but if you wheel it you need the SAS.

Man your Tahoe is clean, I like it a lot, I just ordered my 6" yesterday, waiting on it to arrive, I also bought new upper, and lower balljoints, new inner and outer tie rod ends, new pitman and idler arms, I'm rebuilding the front when I install the lift!
So the whole ball joint flip, I just put the uppers in upside down right?
