Here is what I put in my 07. I wanted to remove the AFM system. Comp Cam 54-412-11 212/218 114LSA, CHE Trunions, LS6 springs, 7.40 Chromoly Pushrods, Delphi LS7 lifters, high volume oil pump, new water pump, new timing chain, ARP bolts. I rebuilt the tranny but kept the factory stall. It runs great.
Similar cam to what I have picked minus no vvt and lower lift.

Shake much or push thru the brakes much?

It does not shake. Every so often it will jump while at a stop light. I did not want to go to big with the cam because it is my daily driver and I only wanted to do a top end build. If you get too aggressive with the cam then your looking at having to upgrade the fuel pump, fuel injectors, stall and possibly a bottom end rebuild.

I have a larger cam I put in my caprice without having to do any of that....it benefits from large factory injected and a zl1 pump factory though. Bottom ends are more than capable for waaaay more power than cam only.
