That is bi-xenon hid projectors from a actual lexus rx350.

My retrofit I did on my yukon has acura tl projectors and mini h1 projectors. 4 low and 4 high beams. Leaps and bounds better light output than anything I have driven next to in the past 2 years.

The oem projectors usually need a little modding, but once done they out perform the aftermarket ones by far. Some have better attributes, some have a great high beam and others have a great low beam. Some have both.
What allows all 4 projectors to do 4low or 4 high? it is just a standard signal when switching from low to high, or was their special wiring involved?

First off all of my projectors are bi-xenon. So hid lows and highs.

I wired my acura tl hid ballasts to my low beam circuit. I wired my mini h1 ballasts to my fog circuit so I can use them independent from each other. And I wired all 4 high beam solenoids on the projectors to my high beam circuit.

On a bi-xenon projector it uses a single bulb for high and low beam. It has a solenoid that flips a shield down for high beam. So if your lights are on, and you hit your highs, instant hid high beam instead of waiting for the bulb to warm up like if you had hids in your high beam reflector

You would have to contact a company who does them... like BlackFlameCustoms.com. They are a sponsor on here as well...

Those could be a START to a retrofit, but those are CRAPPY projectors. You would still have to swap out the projector.

Hey, I'm also looking to swap into some projectors. I've read through several threads but I'm curious how to tell which spyder or other eBay sets are ok for HIDs out of the box, until I could send them out for a proper retrofit.
Thanks

Just get some depo projectors... Kinds like the Denali look a likes. They'll all basically be the same (poor quality) until you do the retrofit

This... I had spec d tuning, seen spyders and other ebay ones. All the light output sucks. Your better off with stock reflectors compared to those.

Buy the yukon projector brackerts from this guy, $55, https://www.facebook.com/Custom.Brackets.Designs/

Then buy these, https://www.theretrofitsource.com/components/projectors/bi-xenon-morimoto-mini-h1-7-0.html

If you're looking for a budget setup, do these, https://www.theretrofitsource.com/components/projectors/bi-xenon-acme-super-h1.html

Takes about 30 minutes per side if you're a total newb.
The easiest retro hands down, I hate you yukon guys lol. I have to actually do surgical work with tahoe lights, but that's ok not the first time.
