Can I just cut my exhaust pipe off?

^^^^he has the right idea i have not catalytic convertors or mufflers but i do have duals comin out the back....my county doesnt have emmisions tests haha

sunlitcomet is 100% correct ive actually had a cop swing out behind me hella fast once when i got on it in front of him then he backed off right away and i dont have to smog it for 2 years so ill be good till then

mines cut off like right below the front passenger seat with a tip screwd on. kinda ghetto but sounds good. before inspection next year ill get duals run

Single exhaust is better then dual. Dual just sounds better and if you do dual, you have to do it out the sides and not the back.

Lol just cause I think it looks better out the side then the rear. Out the rear just looks like two holes to me. Out the side adds a little flavor to it. Plus I am a huge C10 guy and all the C10's I like have side exhaust.

So by "have to do it..." you're meaning because of personal tastes and not some other reason? I'm with ya now. I was just wanting to clarify that for any other readers that may not question that and really think that you have to have side exit exhaust if you have duals for some other reason other than personal preference

Haha yes my personal taste. I think it needs to be written into a federal law tho lol

If we're writing that into federal law then I propose that it be illegal to buy gaudy stick on "chrome accessories" and plaster them all over your ride just cuz they are cheap to buy at the auto parts store!
