Hi all, I am trying to identify an interior part so I know what to ask for. 2003 tahoe. When you fold down the middle seat there is a carpeted part that is hinged. It covers the gap/hinge between the middle seat and floor of the third seat area. There are numbers on it but nothing comes up when I searched those part numbers. Can anyone help with the name or part number for this?

Thanks Kelly

I'm guessing it's Part 8 on the first diagram in the link below and there isn't a part number associated with it on the site so you might be stuck scavenging eBay and car-part and salvage lots.

Best guess for a name is middle or 2nd row seat back panels. Didn't find much online anywhere. Junkyards are probably your best resource.

Thanks, Here are a few pictures. A couple are of how I fixed it. The plastic that holds the metal tabs broke off. I was able to screw them back on. The screws seem to hold better then I thought. You can see the possible part numbers on it but none seem to come up anywhere. I guess I could call the dealer to see if the numbers come up for them. It covers the gap between the middle set when it is folded down and the floor of the 3rd seat area or cargo area. Thanks KellyhDSC00109.JPG DSC00111.JPG DSC00114.JPG DSC00115.JPG

I searched the internet and the GM parts sites, but could never find a match even with the numbers on the back of the flaps that seemed to correspond to the carpet color options. I still don't know the correct GM name either. My tabs broke off where they pushed through the seat frame, so they would not stay in place.

I hit the junkyard up and found a set that hadn't been destroyed in the yard. All pieces, clips and screws were intact so it was a win and in my color as well.

That is the best info I can give you and this question has come up a few times, but never successfully answered. @Kellyh
