Well find why it is not getting power, On the right rear behind the right rear tire is a junction, make sure the ports are getting power.

Does your cruise control work?

Also, If you have a tow package, have you tried testing the power plug on your truck that you would hook up to a trailer to see if the brake light circuit is working? If it worked, then that would answer you brake pedal switch question!

Also, I'd be taking out each and everyone of your fuses (I know, you have already done that) and check each one for continuity, this will test each fuse to make sure it is indeed good instead of just visually!! Most of my fuses that I have ever fried have always been easy to look at and see that it's blown but I've also seen a few that at first glance it looked good but when you really looked at it you could see that it was fried barely!

Check these things and let us know what you come up with!

On the inlet wire harness only the tail lights and blinkers. Not getting power for brake and backup lights.

This was a police vehicle so I think when the light bars and such were detached wires may have been cut? Not sure though.

I do believe there is a short somewhere I get lot's of spark from the ground post of the battery to another ground.

I replaced the brake switch but still does not work.

No the cruise does not work either. I did recheck all the fuses they are all good. Might be a short but where to start looking?

Damn vin decoder is out of business effective now. Look on doors and jambs, inside center console and glove box for a sticker that has your vin and a boat load of three digit codes on it . Let me know if you see that JL4 code on that list.
