I have an 04 Yukon Denali and installed a Pioneer AVIC-930BT navigation, PAC-1 harness, steering wheel controller and back up camera. After the installation, I noticed this slight humming sound that only occurs when the engine is on. I think this is do to a bad ground so instead of ground through the harness I tried to ground to the car but that didn't make much of a difference. Has anyone had this problem and how can I get rid of it? Thanks.

First let me say that since I can't hear the noise your talking about that i'm taking an educated guess as to what is happening...

Are you going RCA or hard-wire into the adapting harness? If your connecting the Pioneer to the vehicle adapter through RCA's it's an easy and inexpensive "band-aide" to use an RCA noise filter inline with the RCA outputs. This is a cheap and easy solution and something you could do yourself for a few dollars.

I called it a Band-Aide because the real soulution is to completely eliminate any use of your factory amplifiers/bose system. But that can get very costly
