Hey mdiacont322 I have the same set up you have, and i added 2 1/4 inlet 2 1/4 out flowmaster 44s. I wanted them out to the sides also behind the rear wheel. I ended up doing this and it sucked.:emotions122: It has an ugly sound going back to to shop get done all the way to the back with chrome tips.

if i buy a flowmaster system, what they do is they take the two pipes and merge them into one 3" pipe. from there its one single inlet muffler with two 2 1/2" tailpipes. This is for the pick ups though.

One of my buddies has a 5.3 with the same super 40 muffler setup (single in, dual out) and it doesnt sound bad.

I actually had a dual in dual out super 40 on, but it spread the pipes and blew out my flange gasket.

I have seen somebody on here with a single 4" tailpipe. I'm also wondering if it would be better to get a single side exit with a 4" tailpipe.

AND- how much low end power are you guys losing?

Thanks
mike
