Nope and there's actually a "TB coolant bypass mod" where there's arguments that there's a couple HP to be gained but I doubt it. It was a stupid idea by GM if you ask me- it was supposedly for extreme cold weather to keep the TB from freezing up. Kind of like a mini heater for it, but nobody wants to heat up incoming air. It actually doesn't do anything except make it hard to remove the TB.

Tpi motors had the same deal, there was also a bypass mod for it.

was that limited to a specific year or years? my 00 didn't have that and I don't think my ex 04 has it but I would have to look again to be sure.

I'm not sure but my 02 has it.
edit: it looks like all the NBS have it. Here's a TB on Rockauto from an 06 and you can see it has the connections for the hoses. That's upside down; the hoses are on the bottom and hard to see unless you start removing the TB, then they're clearly a pain in the ass.

I replaced the oil sending unit on my Tahoe by reaching way back and getting a socket on it and replacing it. Took 15 minutes to do it. It is a Pain but doable

I am having the exact same problem after replacing oil pressure sending unit on my 2011 yukon xl denali. I did the work myself and replaced with brand new gaskets and o-rings. I am not a "car" guy but am fairly mechanically inclined and great at following directions. Everything went very smoothly EXCEPT I feel like the fuel injectors should fit snugger into fuel rail than they do. They spin with very little force. Could this cause a misfire?

I now also have a stabilitrak and traction control warning message.

PS, the 6.2L makes it impossible to remove sending unit without removing manifold.
