Ok so I finally gave in and took the truck to the shop so they could do the smoke test on it. I tried with the carb cleaner and couldn't find anything. So the problem they found was the oil filler neck was cracked on the bottom and the MAF was bad. Thanks everyone for the input, really appreciate it.

You mean the NEW MAF was bad???

I've had "new" MAF's from Auto Zone(AZ) come out of the box bad also. They must have gotten a bad batch from the supplier at one time. Run into 3 of them so far in my area. When I changed the "new" MAF out with the one from my truck problem was solved. AZ store gave no problem exchanging MAF's until a good one was found. Just a PIA until we found a good one.

Yea I got a bad MAF from autozone and they let me exchange with no problems. I think I got a good one now lol because I no longer have a CEL.
