TripleFJeff, I can do that if it will tell me color of wire and what it goes to. Have you used the service? What is the link?

Seats are interchangeable the generation year tahoe, suburban, escalade and gmc.

Read a write up where guy installed escalade seats.

My Suburban came with clean cloth seats that I don’t mind. Will wear them out and if need to be change out, but for now I really like them. They are verily available since all the suvs above use them.

I do not think Escalade seats are direct replacements. They will bolt in but because some functionality is controlled thru the infotainment system it will likely be difficult/not possible to operate.

Yukon Denali seats should be plug and play.

Got the Denali cluster installed today.

Mileage came over correctly. However I haven’t been able to get Apple Maps to work on the navigation screen via either wired (direct) or wireless CarPlay (with adapter). Album art comes over but the playlist names don’t. Seems to get more data the longer it’s connected and running so we’ll see if anything changes on our next trip.

I did not install the HUD gear yet.

One thing I love: tow/haul mode displays the transmission temperature in place of voltage.

Going to hang on to the original cluster for a few weeks at least to make sure I like this new one.

Getting a service steering system message after every startup now, but neither my topdon or autel Bluetooth scanners are finding any trouble codes related to it. My guess is that both of them are seeing this as a normal 1500 suburban and can’t scan the modules unique to the 3500 appropriately. Might need to invest in a mvi tool.

Team, quick update on my center console harness.

Finally found a little time to go through wires on my 16 Suburban 3500 LS that were cut and compare to the wire harness I purchased from a wrecking yard.

I have attached photo of the wire harness that Im trying to attach to my cut harness.

I have also attached written colors that are on my suburban and compared to the harness I bought from wrecking yard to attach to my suburban.

My next step is to somehow find out what each of these colors are for before connecting.

What route should I go to find color codes. I’ve been unsuccessful finding anything online.

Would my local Chevy dealer have this info?

Thank you,
