Chevy dealership sucks!!

Took my 2007 Tahoe Z71 with 50,000 miles on it to the dealership to get some things fixed and they did nothing. My car needed new door handles on the inside on the passenger and driver side cause they are pealing and are sharp, they don't have them in stock and are charging me when that should be fixed for free(IMO). I also needed my temp button on the AC console replaced cause it was pealing and looked crappy. They told me it would cost $500 to fix a small button cause they have to replace the whole console. Then finally I wanted to see what they said about the two cracks I have on my dash and they said it would cost over $1000 to replace it. Sometimes I wish I would have kept the F250.

Get a used A/C control unit and pull the buttons you need.

As for the door handles, that is supposed to be a free fix. Dealers don't stock them, but they should order them for you.

Chris is correct. Door handles should be covered by a recall. Search www.chevyproblems.com for more details. You might be able to locate the NHTSA reference number on Google too. As for the dash, is your truck still under warranty? Worst case scenario, call GM's Customer Support number and throw a fit. They may be able to help out, at best, to split the cost with you. I also recommend finding a new dealer.

which buttons are messed up on your ac controls...i have a used one with some buttons still good on them...I can pull out whatever buttons u need if they are in good shape

Wow they sound like dicks. Definately find a new dealer and tell those dudes to.**** themselves because they have scam artist like prices with absolutely no real help. Go to the junkyard and pop off the buttons u need if you cant get them on here. Shouldnt be expensive at all
