I don't remember off hand, since its been about a year since I did it. It was probably like about 1 hr or so. The little clips were a beach to get off though. I was trying to be real careful, so that I could make sure they were still useable when I put the chrome one one.

Please explain how the hell you got those little clips off, I tried the other night and couldn't for the life of me get them to release. Also how did you remove the bowtie attachments?

thanks

yea those clips are a pain. I used every possible tool... flathead screw drivers of all sorts of sizes and even butter knives. If I remember correctly, I think it was the butter knife that fit in there good enough to wedge them loose. I kind of opened the clips and then once they were out I bent then back as tight as possible.

As for the bow tie, there is a little bolt in the middle of it. Might be able to get it off with your fingers it shouldn't be that tight if not stick a socket to it.

Got it, only 4 bloody knuckles and a few choice words, upgrade looks awesome. Thanks for your coaching.

On a Yukon or ?

Hey man, read an article the other day about your Yukon getting jacked. How'd you get the wheels back?

---------- Post added at 05:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:53 PM ----------

Anybody know if you have to take the entire front bumper off to get to the lower grill on a Yukon? I've got an '09, just switched out the upper grill for a Denali one the other day (temp was a little below 20 that day, not such a good idea after I started), but I still haven't done the lower one. Thanks.
