Greetings, everyone!

I've been watching this forum for quite a long time and uderstood, that it's one of the best place for modders.
So, due to the fact, that you have pretty much experience in that, I'd like to ask you a little question about what rims would fit (in terms of design) my truck best.

Two years ago I bought an Escalade (it was global financial crysis time, so Escalade prices in my country dropped from 120K USD to 95K USD - best time to buy) equipped with 18" rims. I thought it was right choice for our roads, but then I understood, that my truck won't ever go like '78 Eldorado, so I bought 22'' GM CK 798 High-gloss black rims and equipped 'em with 305/45R22 Yokohama tires (to get 33 inch overall wheel diameter - I'm ex-offroader, so I'm a little bit crazy about wheel sizes, despite I will never go off-road in my Escalade). Jumpy ride went off (it was on 18'' rims - kind a weird), so I deceided to buy another set of 22s for winter seasons.
I was looking for Platinum 22 inch rims (to get a complete "Platinum set" - I've already installed Platinum fascia, front dash and center console lid), but they're extremely rare here, the only thing you can get is 20'' Platinum replica. But there are a lot of CK 375, both original and replica 22''. So, I began thinking of those Yukon Denali Hybrid rims.

After some manipulations with Cadillac configurator and MS Paint, I've got the result. But I've never seen this in real life (actually I've seen it once, but it was a year ago, so I didn't think much of that).

So, I'd like to ask you:

1. Do you have any photos of CK 375 mounted on Escalade,
2. What do you think fits better, 20" Platinum or 22" CK 375?

I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon!

BTW, CK 375 matches design of the 2007 SRX 18" rims and 2008 CTS 18" rims!

Welcome! If you search escalade platinum Hybrid on eBay, you will occasionally see one with the CK375's. I personally think the ck375 22's look much better then the platinum 20's.

Wow! Thanks a Lot, Serge!

Your ride is also a very good example, specialy it the thread of one of those Hybrid forums (if I'm not mistaken - seen it a hour ago), when you were talking about mounting roofrack (your truck looks pretty much like Escalade with that rack)!

Matter of fact, I was thinking about mounting that bushguard (I was not quite satisfied with my original front end, the hole idea of buying an Escalade initialy started with a plan to install there Sierra Denali front end, but eventually the roofline won't fit design, even in case rear fender flares problem would be solved, but that all is another long story), but now it's prohibited by Federal Government. Thanks God people are importing Platinum fascias to our country (Platinum Escalades sold in our country have stock front end, due to the European regulations, that demand tow hooks sticking out of front end for such trucks assembled here, despite in fact there is no assembly in here - it's only on papers, trucks are imported fully-built form Arlington Assembly, Texas), so now I'm stisfied with the front end of my truck.

Yup if you were looking at the greenhybrid forum that is also me there with the username HyHoe. :)

But I never installed the roof rack in the end as I didn't feel like drilling new holes on the roof.

And thanks for the compliment ... my truck has elements from all the different versions of these trucks. :waytogo:

Where are you by the way?

Yeah, Serge, I think, that the rear end of Hybrid Tahoe is the best one among all 900 GMTs, I wonder why GM don't install it on every SUVs they produce under Chevy and GMC brand. Guess just to force people to buy Hybrids - they look more appealing and have larger engines. Increase in Hybrids sales would free GM to put more lead-pumping engine options for their cars, due to increase in average gas milage (all that CAFE stuff).
In fact, I'd put hybrid hoe rear end to my dream truck, along with Esc ESV body, Sierra front end and Chevy 572 engine. You guys are lucky to live in US, 'cause you can build these trucks for a reasonable price!

Now, I started to think about installing those assist steps, after looking at your truck!

Yeah, I live in Soviet Russia!:)

Bears, Oil & Gas, Steelworks, Vodka and Caviar!:)

Maybe if you stand back and squint a little, this pic will give you an idea of what I'll look like on a Caddy (I have Esky racks, lights, boards, and appliqués, so...):
