I picked up a set of chrome 22s from a coworker a couple days ago. They were originally on an escalade, but he kept them when he traded it in.
Didn't really care how much I paid him for them, so I'm not into them for anything yet.
The bad news............he kept them on during the winter and put them away with salt on them. Areas are turning green and the finish is flaky. If you rub them lightly the shine is still underneath.
Any suggestions as to how about REALLY cleaning them?
worst case, I clean them up and if I don't like them on my truck I sell them for him or give them back.
I got a set of oem denali wheels when I got my truck that are ready to go on once spring hits so these arn't that important...........
I'll put some pictures up tomorrow of the 22s, they're pretty bad.
