im not exactly sure on yours but with the CAI the MAFS would notice the added air flow and try to change the computers fuel management, when i did my K&N i also replaced the MAFS with the Jet Performance module to account for any possible major air flow changes. never saw my engine light come on, however i did mine as a dual change mod! i havent heard anything about removing the baffle in the stock unit.

It means there is oil from the filter on the maf..Take the maf off and clean it with maf cleaner..The "baffle" you see in there is to straighten/smooth the air out as it goes over the sensor..Its not worth it to remove it....

Im sorry you wasted you $$ on a "performance maf" but you would have been better off putting that money towards a real tune..Same goes with the TBS :)

first mod to this gray beast: Bilstein 4600 rear, 5100 adjustable heights in front. thinking about supercharger but hennessy quoted 14k, dont think so! Id go for 5k all in. Any recomendations? Divorced wife got the house and workspace so I hire it out.

Hennessy is just a rebranded major name supercharger (ie. Whipple or Magnacharger). We sell all major brand name kits, and could get you one for WAY less than 14K!

Hennessey puts out some serious ground pounders but your basically paying for the name not the equipment as stated by jenna most if not all thier stuff is just rebadged. Typical blown price then the extra 5+k for them to stick a badge on the back of your truck. If you actually live in thier area tho i hear thier home base customer service is outstanding. Still overpriced compared to what others including blackbear can set you up with.
