I had a K&N 57-3050 CAI on my nbs2500hd with a 6.0l and it was awesome... now im back in the same boat again but with a 06 denali... im leaning toward the volant this time because i saw this today. Just my 2 cents!

Ok so I have got it in and some pics. This is a very nice kit. And for the price even better. I have in stalled quit a few and this kit is very compairable to the k&N kit.
Before the air restricted air intake tube JUNK the tin pieces bolt together and the after the air box is out the three bolts come out of the mounting tray and go into the heat shield tin. After bolted in.

In my old air box I drilled 2" holes around the air box to alow more air flow in. I think it may have helped but the air tub didn't help anything. Going for a drive soon will update on miliage and the right foot happy factor later

That looks great just not sure how well it blocks off getting warm air in the intake

Look fairly good. The heat shield blocks of a lot.

So this simple mod makes a huge difference. I think it payed for it self today !!!!! So for the people who say they don't make power and don't do anything for gas miliage SHUT UP FOOLS.

I didn't think it would have such a big effect as it did. The throttle response in much better. From 50km to 80-100km the pull it has is greatly improved.

OH and the best part!! I was down to 15.2 mph in the city for the last bit. I got up to 18.2mpg !!!! Took a pic when I didn't think it was going to get any better. But it did Here is what I thought was great. Then it got better.
