None of them blow that good at idle (on our trucks anyhow). Mine blows 30F on the highway but at idle in drive at a light it will creep back up to 42 to 48ish after a few minutes......of course this is at anything over 98F outside.

You can blame this on low rpms and poor OEM cooling fan performance.

My vette on the other hand blows great at idle, but it is a 6 speed manual and has a variable throw compressor, so at idle it just cranks up the compressor output, not to mention the badass oem fans it has.
I wish my truck had the same setup.

I have been around. Getting pictures of cracked head up in a little bit. Love to see some pressure reading when you check it again.

I just checked my pressures, 77 degrees, not sure humididty.

@ Idle 50 & 240 - 49 degree vent temp blower on high.

@ 1500 rpm 38 & 310 - 43 degree vent temp blower on high.

@ 1500 rpm 30 & 290 - 34.5 degree vent temp blower on low.

Evidently there is somthing still not rite. The high pressure is way TOO HIGH!

Yesterday was nearly 90 degrees and I really am not impressed with the way it cools at idle but as soon as I start moving (slow speed on side streets) and im in the low to mid 30's. Get on the highway and see 25-29 degree temps.

I dont hear the fan clutch engaging as much as it did a few weeks ago....

All kidding aside what does it blow at idle say on a 85 degree day after 5 minutes at idle? Do me a favor, check it out and let me know.... I would appreciate it just so I can get an idea of where im at.

I dont know if its my aftermarket condenser or a weak fan clutch. Or both!

My fan clutch is only locked up when I first start my truck for about 1 minute. Thats it! But then again its not been hot lately. ( max 88 )

Yep overcharged, and the hotter the higher both pressures will be. Time to let some out.

This sucks! This is cause I was busting my friends balls cause he overcharged his car!

On the highway this morning I was down to 24 degrees at one point, it was effen lovely! Whats gonna happen when I let some out???

Some were saying im undercharged, now im overcharged.

the pressure chart is is one of your threads. It has pressures temps humidity etc.

don't breathe when freon is escaping. use your gauge set and bleed some out.
