All kidding aside what does it blow at idle say on a 85 degree day after 5 minutes at idle? Do me a favor, check it out and let me know.... I would appreciate it just so I can get an idea of where im at.

I dont know if its my aftermarket condenser or a weak fan clutch. Or both!

My fan clutch is only locked up when I first start my truck for about 1 minute. Thats it! But then again its not been hot lately. ( max 88 )

This sucks! This is cause I was busting my friends balls cause he overcharged his car!

On the highway this morning I was down to 24 degrees at one point, it was effen lovely! Whats gonna happen when I let some out???

Some were saying im undercharged, now im overcharged.

LOL!!!! You are a lucky bastard. It never gets below 90 here in the summer even at 5am (pretty much the coldest part of the day) but a storm just blew through and it is 83 out.

Ok, all readings were AC on high blower, recirc, at night (in the shade), front AC only. Ambient 83 F and 60% humidity

After 10 minutes (since my truck was 98 inside) at idle in park: 38.7 F.

At 1500 rpms simulated driving (minus good airflow) 30 F and it would eventually cycle. My cycle switch is NOT OEM, it is adjustable and I have it set there. At this temp and unusual high humidity due to it just rained a little, the low lines were all frozen white with ice. Normally it would cycle at 36-37 with OEM switch. Replacement "OEM" aftermarket switch cycled at 42...lame....hence my adjustable.

Then I put on the parking brake and rock under tire, put it in drive at idle to simulate getting off the highway/street and coming to a 5 minut light....41 F, but remember the truck was already nice and cold inside. So cold that the side vents that blow on the side windows were condensing water on the outside of the glass like a cold glass of ice water.

If the humidity would be the normal 20%, it would have been colder at idle.
When it is 115 F like this afternoon, at idle it is more like 48ish. Just too damned hot for the OEM fan.
Hope that helps, I just wasted 35 min and 1/2 gallon of gas.

I never use my AC so I asked myself who the f#*< spends over 3Gs on their AC.

Then I seen where you live. Been there, done that. Glad you finally got it working, and better than OEM I might add.
