EDIT: The guys in our shop tell me that those rockers will clear the valve cover and require no modification to the heads, it's pretty much plug n pray.

So now it's just a question of brand name. Thoughts?

Yup. The guy's say Proform's are OK, Crowler's are better, but but I can buy three of these sets for the price of them.!

I've read some horror stories about using those. I don't think it's been mentioned yet but full rollers are noisier too so you may have an issue with false knock.

A few years ago I put 1.8 Yella Terra roller roller rockers in my 01 vette. Made about 15 more hp and 1-2 mpg, no kidding. They are a little louder, but I can live with it.
So I have no problem with putting some on the truck, but only if I DONT have to drill out the pushrod holes. Direct bolt on or forgetaboutit.

The Crowler's are made of stainless steel which would jack up the price quite a bit. Just wish I had the money to do 1.5 or 1.6 while I have my heads apart. I don't get smogged again until 8-2012 so I have time to experiment. THIS SUCKS :)
