Confused! What Year Denali's have Active Fuel Mgt??

OK I've been doing some research on what year Denali XL I want to be looking for and I'm really getting confused on what years from 2007 and newer actually have the Active Fuel Management.

I've read a few places that 2007-2008 do have it at least in the 5.3L, but I am not certain whether or not the 6.0L in the Denali has it or not. Only draw back for me is that I will need to add aftermarket equipment for bluetooth.

2009 I've read does NOT have the Active fuel management in the 6.2L, but does have the integrated bluetooth.

2010 I've read added back the Active fuel management (also has bluetooth), but in the same article it says that MOST engines have it........THOROUGHLY confused now.

all 07+ with 5.3 have afm. The easiest way to see is to look in your dic. With it in the Instant fuel mode it will display a V8 and when afm is active it will display V4. afm on the 6.2L didnt happen until 2010 if i am not mistaken

No I'm pretty sure in 2010 they added AFM to ALL Denali's and escalades. All the 5.3 Tahoe/yukon's have been having it since 2007.

OK thanks for the clarification! Should I assume that the 6.0L in the 2007-2008 Denali's did NOT have AFM? Thanks for the help........makes it easier to narrow down the year I should be looking for

I would assume the same thing because my escalade doesn't have it either bc they too didn't start putting AFM in until 2010. And the 07-08 denali's are 6.2L not 6.0L btw
