I'm wanting to replace the upper and lower ball joints on both sides for my 15 Tahoe LTZ. Looking at just replacing the CA that has the ball joints.

When looking at Moog brand I see different options for CA. What is suggested for CA on this vehicle?

When I look at the AC Delco arms, preferred, it just wants to know if you have aluminum steering knuckles.

You will have to either dig in there and scrape the knuckle with something metal and see if it is aluminum or know what RPO code in your glove compartment says.

I did some searching and found that the Z71 package has the aluminum arms and steering knuckles. If you do not have the Z71 package, then you have the stamped steel arms.

These are the less quality Professional grade.

The OE quality grade is more expensive and can see them at RA where I found these.

It shouldn't be the Z71 package. What code am I look at on the label in the glove compartment?

No need for the RPO code if you don't see a Z71 badge on your rig. But the RPO code Z71 would be on your RPO code sticker inside your glove compartment. If you look and see no Z71, then you do not have that option.

Are you wanting Moog or AC Delco? I will look them up for you. The ones I looked up are not the best quality AC Delco, like oe is, but if that is what you want, the part numbers are there to order at RA.

I'm leaning more towards Moog. I think Moog are good parts.
