I had Q-Logic kix in my silverado, They fit ok and the sound was decent. They crowded my feet a little. I was worried about kicking it too hard or getting too much dirt in it or something of the like.

Thanks, I drive with the left leg bent and foot planted flat, never in the corner, so I think I'll be alright on space. What speakers were you running, wattage? Thanks for the info...

theres tons of room in the front doors. Why not just put both woofers in there?

I thought about this but I did this for a few reasons, 1 I'm making it so that there will now be 8 different sources of sound all around the truck, so the sound should sound that much fuller, and with he clarity I'm shooting for it should be amazing.
2 The audio processor (PXA-H701) has the ability to create a "Phantom Center speaker" by using the front speakers (front door speakers in a normal 4 speaker set up) when it is switched into surround sound, so I will be using these kick panel speakers to create this phantom center speaker and see how that goes....
3 The processor also has an automatic timing correction feature. This will allow me the ability to tune all speakers automaticlly so that the sound from each hits your ear at the same time, as opposed to at slightly different times if all speakers were firing at the exact same moment different distances from your ear. I'm hoping this really makes the car sound amazing....

yeah thats why...

Those are neat but Copper&Black you should look for these http://www.customspeakerpods.com/

We could set up a group buy and save 10-30% depending on what we buy.

Oooo Nice, about how much? If they aren't bad I wouldn't mind turning the system into a 10 speaker set up :)

Did a little when I got home from work preping for the large power inverter. I ran the extension cables through the cabin so that there is easy access to the power anywhere in the truck. One will be tucked in-between the pass. front seat and the center console with a little bit of slack so that it can be pulled out enough to plug in anything. The second will be just behind that with slack enough to pull out the back for the back seat passengers. The third will be tucked in that channel, underneath the flap at the bottom of the 2nd row, to easily be pulled out and used for the cargo area, mini fridge for trips or tailgating etc...

The inverter is a Cobra 2575 with 2500 watts of cont. power & 5000 surge. Remote on & off from the front, three outputs, and a power USB output. Requires two 4 gauge power cables….

Nice man, is that a little dent in your grill at the bottom, the Infinity's have the same type of grill and wanted to know if they were easy to stay away from or if they are getting hit all the time? How do they sound?

Yup that's a dent, I had to bend the parking brake to the right because of the shape with the 3 ways they stick out more towards the bottom. I whacked it when I first put them in taking the brake off.
I'm not sure if the others fit the same though. They sound great!

Nice job with the converter, I want to do something like that soon.
