Imo isnt ther somthing cleaner than extention cords?

I considered wiring it a custom outlet, somewhere on the center console, but I didn't want to cluter up the center console with anything. When I start finishing it up and you see the direction I went with it, I'm sure you will agree.
As for how clean it is....The outlet end will be tucked in between the seat and the console. You would have to get you face down there to look down by the track to see it when not being used. Any excess minus the slack needed to pull it out will be hidden and zip tied inside the void in the center console. The rear outlet will be coiled under the hard carpet covered flap, invisable when not being used.

If I want to add outlets or anything down the road, all I would need to do is clip the end, and wire them up.

Great build Copper, I found something out on mine just as an FYI for those who are planning to do something along these lines like C&B. There is something more frustrating, obnoxious and tedious than installing Dynamat. Removing it. So plan yours carefully or you'll be in for a few hours of pain and getting high on wax remover.

I just looked at your Dynamat pictures a little closer, you're going balls out man. How many sq ft have you done?

Yea that's a little on the ridiculous side bro LOL :waytogo:

Allow me to splain....

I thought I was bad...mine goes from firewall to rear bumper inside the cabin AND underneath. I also have it inside the engine compartment, the entire hood and doubled on the outside firewall behind the engine. I'm not 100% done BUT damn close now and and I still have only used 130 or 140ft so far if memory serves me correctly.

And BTW, don't know if you've had a chance to check this out on yours yet or not but I think my transmission runs really hot with my new TC! I can still feel the high heat on my floor, and my sheet metal is sandwiched between two sheets of Dynamat Extreme. High time for a cooler.

I bet it's QUIET in your truck :)

Yeah I'm sure it will be super quiet but I have yet to drive it since I gutted it. I also plan on doing the fire wall on the engine side, the area above the trans, and hood but I will wait untill the 6.0L is built and ready to install.

Do you have pictures on here of the dynamating you did?
