Corsa Catback vs Magnaflow muffler?

With your Corsa system install, does it delete the "flapper valve" and resonator?

Hey guys I have a 2017 Tahoe ....what size pipe does GM install on their stock exhaust?....I'm thinking about Corsa or Borla....but I am seeing in this thread that Corsa and Borla pipe is smaller that the stock pipe? Is this specific to 6.2 or does it also apply to the 5.3?

6.2 has 3.5"
5.3 has 3"

Corsa and Borla are 3" for the 6.2, hence why people say it is smaller.

^ but at least aftermarket will be mandrel bent & consistent size vs OEM.

Absolutely! I'd like to see a comparison between 3.5 OEM versus a 3" mandrel bent tubing and see exhaust flow.
