I just started reading about this and I think I really want a vette servo installed like this weekend. lol. $20 for the part, and $20 to install at a shop?? thats not bad at all. I gotta find a shop around me first, but I think I'm going to get it done.

oh wow, well I was going off of GMFS and other threads that I have read about it, and most people have said their local shop would put it in for 20. But I haven't looked around at any shops. I will look into it this week and see how much they will charge to install it.

If you have a body lift its a 15min job, if you dont its a bloody pain in the arse as the body is in the way and you cant remove the assembly.

I had no problems with installing mine, removed the heat shield and we about my business.

Personally I say install it your self. I wouldn't waste the time and money going to a shop.
