Could it be a front hub or pads?

I just replaced the front pads on my 08 Denali XL. The next day, when I do a slow left turn, it sounds like my hub is going, rubbing growl that stops when I straighten out the wheel. It only does it at slow speeds, once the truck has been driven a few miles. Could it be the pads rubbing since one of my slide pins was sticking, not letting the pad return? Do I drive it until the hub blows and need a roadside rescue?

It could be rubbing. After driving a little bit, run out and compare both sides. If one side seems to be hotter and smellier than the other, that is a big sign for sticking. Also make sure no shields or anything are rubbing on the rotor, though that would mean consistent noise no matter how you brake.
