Got the new 2023 Tahoe HC, but before I take it in to service with 200 miles on the odo., I just wanted to verify a few items are normal.

My driver's seat moves back and forth when stopping and going. It bumps back and then forth a small amount. The amount of play seems to change with the amount adjustment back and forth on the power seats, but it's always there.

I can grab the seat and pull back and forth and feel the play.

Anyone else experience this?

Also, I know this other thing isn't normal, but my passenger side running board only deploys the first time the car starts, and then won't work for the next few hours.

After it's been sitting for some time, the running board will come out again. But then will stop working for a few hours.

Driver's side works well. Anyone else experience this?

Thanks in advance.

Agreed. Ours doesn't have any of those issues. No play in the seat and running boards deploy every time a door is opened. Might try toggling the running board settings in the infotainment system, but I'd probably start with a 10mm hard reset. I think you'll have to have the seat fixed under warranty, though. So if the reset doesn't work, have them address that while it is in for seat work.

GM seats are terrible for many years. Had the same issue on several trucks brand new. Some are worse than others, they shim it with a kit. My current truck has had it since new but it is not bad enough that i want interaction with a dealer. Its very annoying on a brand new truck, quite ridiculous.

Man...I love this truck but I'm incredibly frustrated. 600 miles on the odometer.

1) The running board had to the reprogrammed.

2) The seat pops on take off, which the dealer tried to tell me it's normal which turned in to a huge battle and they are enw ordering a seat track.

3) The blower for the drivers ventilated seat whines loudly. Passenger side, perfect. The dealer is ordered a fan.

4) The blower motor at the passenger side 3rd row is clicking repeatedly. Dealer says it's the actuator gone bad. On vehicle with 600 miles?

5) And as of today, I have an error message "forward collision system unavailable".

What the heck is going on? This is crazy.
Talk about losing complete faith in a vehicle. Especially my first Chevy.

Please tell me this isn't normal.

It unfortunately seems to becoming more "normal." There are many factors that many people can point to to make a case/sense of it. It's a shame they (GM) thinks so highly of them for what they charge people. For that kind of money, there shouldn't be glitches

GM has never made more $ than now selling $80K+ SUVs. People waiting 6-9 months for the “privilege” to own one. You’re fortunate if you get one w/o any problems or issues. Disappointing and not exclusive to GM.

You know what truly sucks...my dealer is 5 miles from my house and they don't even offer a shuttle.

So twice now I have to sit and wait for the truck or my wife has to leave work to come get me.

They just need to address everything at once. I can't do this every couple weeks.

Agree. I took our Acura for service and they told me the shuttle only goes 10 miles and I live 12 miles away. I drove 10 miles further to another dealer who gave me a loaner car nicer than mine
