I'm keyed and leveled with Z71 springs (no spacers). I have 1 1/2" rear spacers I'd like to use, but of course the front needs to come up more. I have a lot of threads showing still on the key adjusters (3/4" to 1"). I've had 2 different shops tell me I will ruin the ride if I crank them anymore. I REALLY want to go that extra inch or so higher to get the stance I originally was looking for.

I know another alignment would be necessary. Is it worth doing or will I regret the ride comfort and wear/tear?

Thanks!

If you crank those keys. you will destroy your front end steering components and ball joints.

With Z71 rear springs, the RC leveling kit comes with 3/4" spacers.

I was dead level after installing keys and getting 2-2.5" of lift. I added the 3/4" spacers to be slightly higher in the rear so I'd be about level when loaded.

I think the 1.5" spacers are for use with non-Z71 rear springs.

With all due respect.... I cranked mine as far as they go (which isnt much) back when my truck had 45,000 miles.... Im now approaching 200,000 and only had to replace the pitman and idler arm as well as the idler arm bracket back around 130,000 miles.... My steering is still as tight as a Oklahoma bulls *** during fly season
