I live in Massachusetts but hell, for a good quality brand new paintjob for only $1K? You will still save a shit load of money even with the gas it would take to get down there.

I am getting a new hood soon to be painted and getting my front bumper repainted as well and I was quoted $350 for both pieces. Think that sounds reasonable?
