I'd LOVE to throw a diesel in there. Probably need a new tranny and drivetrain too make it work, though. But I've seriously considered that.

well you would need shafts cut.. diff tranmission.. relocate cross members.. Dmax will fit no problem.. and may want to go thru your rear end. then you are stuck with the biggest negative. a 1/2 ton frame with a diesel that can only tow a half ton payload.. boo.. other than that Dirty max tahoe is top my list.. and if you plan on it PM i have alot of info on the matter.. and cummins swap with allison.
