I would like to know if it is possible to add a custom steering wheel with air bag or do away with air bag any thoughts would help Thank you

Well I don't know if it's true but I heard a few states it's illegal to do away with the air bag. However yes it is possible to do away with the air bag but you will have a light on for it. Not sure if one of the typical companies that make an aftermarket steering wheels sell the kit for 2000+ airbag equipped vehicles but I don't see why not.

Grant evolution, couple different styles available. 03-06 NBS only I think. This is the one in my wife's Yukon.

I bought a Denali one from www.autowoods.com that matches my trim. It's one of the few available for the '00-'02 models. Nice leather and woodgrain. They have others available too including the newer models.
