Would it be better to face the subs to the front?

As of to date, I don't have the 3rd row in, and the subs are facing the front. I did this so I could utilize the cargo space. As far as sound goes, I really can't hear if its better or not but there is less rattle in the rear door/hatch. I think for it to sound better IMO will be to build a sealed enclosure, because this box is ported.

agreed, sealed is always the cleanest. My only concern with rear facing is the subs are right there next to the trunk door/window. Ideally, I would love to some how fit a 10" where the 8 inch is so its hidden but these examples in the rear dont take up much space. Truck so tall, you rarely run into issue of groceries not fitting because of height. Loving the setups.

That window sub, can you post pics if you have?

Which sub are you using?...WO?...W3?..
It's a JL 10W3. Here's a pic of the Thunderform enclosure with a different speaker in it. (This isn't my rig). It utilizes all the available space behind the panel after removing the jack( I relocated mine to under the hood where the 2nd battery would be) and I matched the internal volume to the JL's specs.
