I need to replace my left front CV axel for my 2009 Tahoe with 140K miles.

The OEM part number for CV Axel assembly on this vehicle is 22789359. In searching for this part, the cost is running about $300 to $400, and some change!

What alternative axels would you suggest that don't cost as much?

Thanks, guys.

I am ok with spending more. I mostly looking for which ones to avoid.

Also, I can't shop at Rock Auto. They won't ship to my location (Colorado), because there is a separate payment to state and city tax that they don't want to handle, so SOL for me at RA.

I feel your pain, but there are good alternatives to RA.

Yeah...I am going to have to shop around.
Amazon is an option, but I am not sure what I will get. I have had experiences of getting parts that were not as advertised or were not new.
Local GM dealer wanted $550!

Thanks, guys!

I am just biting the bullet and ordering an OEM axel through an online GM parts dealer (GM Parts Nation). It's cheaper than buying from a local dealer, and it's at least genuine GM (hopefully).

BTW...Razzle does not do GM axels (tried asking the guy).

However, I really like to know what aftermarket brands are good for our rigs. I know there is a lot of cheap, China parts out there.
