Dashboard is completely Dead

Hey, I have a quick question. My Tahoe 2005 was stolen about a week ago. I was about to take it for a smog check and that's when I noticed it didn't work.
I don't know what they did to it, but is there a step by step guide to troubleshoot to try to isolate the problem? I'm guessing it's something I can fix.

i would start buy calling you insurance comp and telling them that i died. Then i would look and see if there are any fuses that are blown or missing.
