I went with these LEDs for my DRL bulbs:

They are very bright.

In the video below, you can seen them at starting at teh :25 second mark (or just play it and see my switchbacks).

I like how the DRL went off when the signal was on. I was thinking of ways to do the last night with relays etc. if someone has already figured it out Though...lol. I'd rather learn from them. Also where did you get those lights?

Wasnt the drl, that was just the switchbacks in operation. I think because of the brightness from the leds the camera blends the two bulbs together . Hard to tell, might be wrong.
But I know away to make it do that but it requires cutting out the drl

i guess you could wire the whole bumper light to be the drl and use some diodes to stop current flowing back in to the signal and visevera. When you flip the signal for that side it cuts out the drl and and the whole bumper light flashes etc.

How would you do it?

After doing some more thinking you'd need some LEDs that can go amber and white.

Wait , are you referring to the parking light as a drl? Some people do.
The switchbacks are both amber and white
I would cut the drl socket and splice it into the parking wires, what I did with mine. But I think your wanting to cut the parking light (bumper light?) and splice that into the drl for a full row of drls.
You won't need diodes as the turn signal part is on it's own circuit

I wasn't thinking about the signal also being the parking light. Blonde
Moment. Yes what your talking about is what I was thinking.
