Im pretty sure this is a stupid question, but I just got my HIDs in the mail and pulled them out of the box. Everything looks pretty self explanatory, except for the thin blue and black wires? What are these for, I assume the black one might be the ground? I feel like this is a stupid question, but I just cant figure out what that extra plug is for. Like I said, I just pulled it out of the box. Thanks

The wires I am referring too are the black and blue wires that come out by the buld itself.

Could be wrong but I think it is just an adapter cord. If you are using the kit for the 9006 low beam you dont need it and you can cut it off. If your using for highs or fogs I dont know for sure. Check here if you want. http://ddmtuning.com/support/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=view&parentcategoryid=1&pcid=0&nav=0

Theres some good info there

I wouldnt cut it off if you have room to stick the extra wires. I do not know if that is exactly what it is so take it with a grain of salt

My DDM kit did not have those exposed wires. Did you order a relay harness? FYI, my kit was for the Tahoe lows.

I did order the new wire harness, but it is on back order. I am pretty unhappy with DDM Tuning right now.

those are the "plug-n-play"

when you unplug your factory lights, you plug the blue end (male of DDM) into the matching colored (female factory harness) and the blacks match up. Its plug and play sort of, meaning its not two harnesses that you click together, but rather what you have there and then the factory connections. use electrical tape
