dont be frustrated, i was also with the backorder thing, but now im ok. I have to order the harness too but may wait on that.

but that is the same set up i have and like said before is how you connect those wires. The other male/female wiring connect to the ballast

then your all set!

Thanks man, I think it will be much more clear for me once I get the head lights out and actually look at it. I hope, because I am still pretty confused, which is pissing me off because I am usually pretty good with stuff like this.

If you are using them for your fogs, then just pull the wires out... You won't use them... Plug in what fits, and test them out, the leftover wires are not used.

I went through it in mine.

i promise its not hard! haha, and you dont have to pull the whole headlight assembly out! thats just going to add another hour or so. Here is what i did:

>open beer
>sit and stare
>open another beer
>haha nah jk cause it was like 8:30 am
> Pop hood
>Remove two bolts holding in the headlight on either side(4 total), for each headlight there is one vertical and one horizontal
>pull on headlight till you have enough room (it was enough for me to stick my hand down to unplug lows and figit with the wiring)
>remove factory bulb from plug and HOLD onto that because THIS is where you plug the blue and black wires you were initially asking about
>plug the rest of the wiring into the balast (3 wires) - two smaller ended ones and one larger ended one (self explanatory)
>dont zip tie anything yet
>test lights
>if working then place ballast in desired location

>do same for both sides

>now for the fogs i ran into a problem, but its easily fixable!
>same setup BUT you cannot insert the blue and black wiring into the factory harness because the aftermarket pins are too big, so in order to connect them, go to AutoZone and get some non splicing crimps. Match up the colored wires and the black wires and there you go. If you need help with this i can take pictures, but its really not hard!

AS mentioned, not generally needed, except on cars with OEM projectors.

ON cars with factory projectors you would drill a hole in the weather cap, install the grommet and both sets of wires, and then the 'bare' end of the blue/black wires would connect to the old head light connector.
This would feed power back outside the housing to the ballast. From the ballast the other "normal" wires would carry the power back into the projector and connect to the HID capsule.

I appreciate the help bro. One more question for you. To reach the fogs did you just pull the inner fender out?

nope, just crawled under the truck and used my long ass arms to reach in there. At some points i found myself tugging at the fender lining because the wiring was short and i couldnt keep my damn head up (starts to hurt when you have to hold it up!)

But if you crawl under the truck you can see it, its not hard to reach. I did as little removing of parts as i could, and it worked out just fine!

oh and the tabs for the fogs are a ***** to loosen! i got a small flat head to get them out, hard to explain but once you get the first one done its not hard for #2. Just look at the HID fogs and it will give you a good idea what you are dealing with since its hard to see up in there...

So the power and ground wires (blue and black) get plugged directly into the OEM plug. Is that correct? Then I assume the plug end on the other side of the blue and black wires get plugged into the ballast?
