what makes you think your 6'8ft Hippo can get vtte numbers

What's so hard to believe?. I knock down 20mpg doing 75mph. On a 250 Mile trip. Hand calculated in my old 07 yukon Denali. Of course an old dinosaur 6.0 gets terrible mpg. Especially if its an ancient four speed. Those got horrible mpg. I drove an 2017 Yukon Denali for the weekend and it surprisingly got way better mpg driving on the highway than my 07. I advise you to keep maintenance up on your vehicles to see better mpg or swap an six speed auto into your truck to see decent mpg. Even around town city driving i get 14 mpg.
