Denali headlights in regular yukon

I thought i would be able to find a thread on this but a few searches didn't turn up anything. Is this a direct replacement? I saw one the other day that someone had taken apart and painted the inside black and i'm obsessed with doing that on my yukon now. That is if it's an easy swap to denali headlights. Has anyone done this?

Im pretty sure its a direct swap. The fitment is the same Im just not sure on the bulb sizes.

Direct fit. The bulbs in the low beam are different. The Denali uses 9005 low beams. However, the headlights have a conversion harness built into them so they will plug right up.

I swapped my stock lights to denali headlights with a custom retrofit morimoto projector and HIDs. They look much better and the light output is significantly more over the stock projector. I did notice how the headlights sit a little bit out over the grill pieces. I think the denali grill is slightly different then the yukon. I can live with the 1/4" protrusion for the quality of the lights. I will post some pics soon.

What years can you make this change with? I have a 2000 Yukon and would love to "upgrade" her look.

00-06 yukons I believe. If I recall in 2000 is when they changed the body styles

Yep, I have the late model. So from 00-06 if I find a Denali headlight set it should be a direct swap? That would be awesome. A quick look on eBay tells me that they are about 100 each side, was hoping for a little less. I'll keep searching.

Check out the depo headlights. They're a bit cheaper and light output is said to be comparable to OEM
