Yeah, like Denali said, they are bigger than the Morimotos. Even though they look smaller (without the solenoid bracket), its measurements are a little bigger. They look like they would fit though

Those look the same as the Tahoe lights.

Probably run into the same problems as Polo, but with a small projector I think it can be done. And some work. It's not going to just be a plug and play deal, you'll have to make it fit and come up with a way to secure the new projectors.

Right now, he's probably the best one to talk to about it, though, since he's mid-project.

Yep, like Denali said, those are the same as tahoe lights that I got. Those DEPOs come with a projector, so if you were ok with that, you could just plug in your HIDS and be done with it. I actually didnt even bother so I dont know what the beam pattern and output are like with the DEPO projectors, but i think several members have them and have no problems with them. The retrofit is only if you want to go with different projectors (in our case, ones used mostly in asian cars with very sharp beam patterns).

So you can try like me to figure a way to make them fit. I am in the process of the project. It's not as easy as Denali's, it's gonna take some cutting and lots of bondo. I'm exchanging the Morimoto D2S projectors for the Morimoto H1, which are a little smaller. So we'll see if this helps.

PM me if you have any other questions, unless you get a Denali, then you can ask him :)

LOL yeah i wont be getting a Denali anytime soon. how bad is the beam on those depos? i have never seem a suburban with projectors so i have no idea. i know i like the look of the TSX projectors but if not worth the trouble then i wont do it. i'm just tired of my clear stock type housing and the splatter pattern i get with them.

Lots of guys run HID's in those DEPO's and they actually work decently. Not as good as a real HID projector, but not bad. There are output shots around the forum somewhere, since they are the same as the Tahoe lights.
