This CARBYTE unit looks to be exactly what most of us were hoping for. Plugs in under the dash and does everything the RANGE unit does -- but with easy access.
best mods so far...
SO I've spent a lot of time and money on trying to make my 2023 Yukon Denali sound and perform its best. I'm super picky about sound particularly and have tried 5 different mufflers from Magnaflow, Flowmaster and so forth. I finally found the absoulte BEST muffler...BORLA Pro XS Universal...

I came across this unit when searching and couldn’t imagine that it actually worked. Not saying it doesn’t, pretty wild if it’s advanced enough to cover all the cars in the list they show plus these global b’s.You guys see this thread?

One weird thing from a review on Amazon.
“One thing to note and not mentioned on their website: it does not deactivate DFM until a speed of 40 MPH is obtained for a few seconds at which point DFM is deactivated for the entire drive cycle.”

No clue, looks like you asked the guy who posted it so hopefully he can confirm. Was funny because I saw somebody going with the carbyte because the range still deactivates when slowing down. Sound like the carbyte isn't 100% either LOL

Dang, that must suck.
I happen to know that one of the tunable parameters for V4 mode (for GM Gen4 Small Block V8s)
is 'Minimum Road Speed', or something like that, and it's about 40MpH if memory serves.

Here you go, found something useful. Here's Carbyte actually explaining it. If you don't hit 40, DFM does it's thing. If you do hit 40 they claim it's completely disabled for that drive cycle. Generally speaking that's probably fine, just don't get fooled into thinking the DFM is completely disabled.
You should buy it and leave us your impressions. I'm certainly curious!
